Founded in 1977, DeAngelo Marine Exhaust began not in a fabrication or machine shop but in a small garage manufacturing gasoline manifolds, along with stainless steel collectors and risers for charter boats and small pleasure crafts.

In 1986, DeAngelo Marine Exhaust, Inc. was incorporated and a small fabrication shop in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida was officially opened for business. By 1993 DeAngelo Marine Exhaust, Inc. would have to increase their workspace in order to keep up with the high demand of orders and production requirements. DME found their prime facility, a 23,000 square feet building that would house administrative, manufacturing, service and sales offices.

In February of 2004, Robert Montes, President and CEO of DeAngelo Marine Exhaust became the sole owner of the company.

Today DeAngelo Marine Exhaust occupies two buildings in order to fill the increasing demand for state of the art marine exhaust systems, their products and services. The facilities consist of 30,000 square feet housing all of Administration, Engineering, Manufacturing, Service and Sales. The company partnered with representatives in all parts of the world in order to provide localized sales and service and overall customer support to existing and new customers from Europe to the Pacific Rim. DeAngelo Marine has also embarked in using Six Sigma quality principles to ensure that it engineers and manufactures the best overall quality product to its customers.

Due to the determination and hands on efforts of Robert Montes, and the extended family of employees, the company is servicing customers worldwide in all areas of the marine exhaust industry. As DeAngelo Marine embarks in its new philosophy of “New Days, New Ways”, the company will continue to expand its business throughout the continental United States and Worldwide.
